ON tonight’s episode of Big Brother: Late and Live a huge twist was announced, alongside the punishment for the first rule break of the series.

Jenny is the first in this year’s Big Brother run to break one of the show’s important rules: discussing nominations.

Jenny was sent to jail as punishment

Caroline felt deflated hearing that she was now the keeper of the Cursed Eye

She was outside in the garden saying how she feels Richard was making himself a target in this week’s nominations.

Zelah responded to this with: “I don’t think you can say that”.

Though Jenny didn’t directly say she was voting for Richard to leave the show, by insinuating that people may be doing that she breached the rule of discussing nominations.

Her punishment was revealed tonight, and it was very open-ended.

Jenny is to remain in a jail located in the Big Brother house’s garden until further notice.

Her housemates can still speak to her from within the confines of the bars, but for now until we don’t know when, she remains trapped.

Fans of the show didn’t find the punishment to be surprising, hoping for something more dramatic.

One X user remarked: “Surely they can come up with another punishment besides the jail cell in the garden.”

But they did notice as soon as Jenny started speaking that she’d broken a rule.

“Oh, Jenny. We’ve had the first rule break of the series!,” said an X user.

If the punishment didn’t satisfy as being major enough, the twist announced just after certainly did.

Last week Caroline stepped forward to open up a box, but she has now been given the Cursed Eye for doing so.

The Cursed Eye comes with two harsh realities.

Firstly, Caroline will be expected to cast her nomination for the next housemate to leave the programme in front of everybody.

And secondly, she herself will be up for eviction.

But at the end of the announcement, one final twist was revealed that viewers won’t fully understand until next week’s show.

Caroline can choose to avoid the awkwardness of nominating in front of her housemates, as well as facing eviction herself, if she is willing to pay.

At exactly what cost, we don’t know. But next week she’s going to be faced with a choice.
