ASDA shoppers have been left “well cuffed” by supermarket’s new one-push rewards trick to “get Christmas shop for free”.
Asda shoppers splashing £5 or more in-store or online have the chance to win cash prizes worth thousands.

The supermarket giant has launched a new rewards scheme ‘Scan to Win’ price draw to help reduce their grocery bills this Christmas.
But customers have only a few weeks left to spend £5 or more and have the chance to win up to £5,000 instantly.
Senior Director for Loyalty at Asda Mark Baxter said: “It’s already been an exciting Christmas this year at Asda, and we’re thrilled to announce the launch of our Christmas ‘Scan to Win’ prize draw on Asda Rewards.
“Not only are Asda Rewards users in with a chance of winning their share of our biggest ever giveaway.
“But we’re also spreading Christmas cheer by offering money off vouchers on festive favourites.”
Punters can grab a Christmas gift which can be tapped to reveal the Cashpot amount or win a coupon.
Only 28 lucky Brits can win the whopping cash prize in their Rewards’ Cashpot, which can then be spent in the superstore.
Asda is also offering dozens of instant win coupon across a range of festive products – including £2 off all Christmas Puddings, Fruit Cakes, Yule Logs and Turkeys.
And cash off toys and games, festive decorations and up to £5 off on George Clothing.
Customers have until December 24 to try their luck by scanning their Asda Rewards app to earn one entry per day.
More than seven million customers have used the Asda Rewards app since launch – earning over £300m in their Cashpots.
Dozens of Asda customers rushed to social media to share their winnings.
Posting on Facebook, one said: “I got £5 the other day. Was well chuffed as I only ever win 50p on Asda things, occasionally £1.”
Another added: “A couple of months ago I got £100 from one of these.”
It comes as Asda made a major change to its loyalty scheme and shoppers can win up to £100 – but there’s a catch.
The retailer has launched a “Spin the Wheel” game in its loyalty app offering customers a minimum 50p prize every time they play.
There were £1, £5 and £100 prizes up for grabs – but the offer was only running until September.
